On Monday, flat rolled steelmaker NLMK USA announced that it would be increasing prices on all products by 4 percent and noted that lead times for all sheet products are now in January.

Last week, Nucor Sheet Mill Group led a move to raise flat rolled prices by announcing a $1.00 cwt. ($22/mt or $20/nt) increase. ArcelorMittal USA followed the increase and AK Steel announced it would be hiking prices by $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt). The increase by NLMK is for a similar amount, according to market sources.
