After Russian and Ukrainian steel mills announced their July output flat steel offers this week, new price levels have started to appear in the Turkish import market. Although some offers have been heard from Europe, flat steel offers from Europe to Turkey still have generally not gained clarity yet. Meanwhile, the Turkish import market has remained sluggish, though some import deals have been concluded.

On the other hand, a Russian steel mill's hot rolled coil (HRC) export offers are at $570/mt FOB St. Petersburg, its cold rolled coil (CRC) offers are at $660-695/mt FOB St. Petersburg, while its HRC offers to Turkey are at $615/mt CFR. In the meantime, Ukrainian mills' HRC offers to the Turkish domestic market are at $545-560/mt CFR. While ArcelorMittal Romania is offering July production HRC to the Turkish domestic market at the level of $640-645/mt CFR, ex-England effective HRC offers to Turkey are at $595-620/mt CFR.
