Mobarakeh increases HDG and tinplate prices

Iranian steelmaker Mobarakeh Steel has increased its local sales price for 0.60 mm hot dip galvanized coils by IRR 456/kg (approx. $50/mt) to IRR 9,246/kg (approx. $991/mt) for March 2008 shipments, according to the latest price list issued on December 10, 2007.

As per the same list, the producer has increased the local sales price of 0.22 mm tinplate sheets by IRR 653/kg ($70/mt) to IRR 9,388/kg (approx. $1,006/mt), also for March 2008 shipments.
