Mexican domestic hot dipped galvanized (HDG) prices fell US$3/mt in the last two weeks to reach US$928/mt ex-mill.

The price remains consistent with the behavior of international prices, and sources tell SteelOrbis that the threat of low-cost imports might be soon mitigated by trade cases.

Currently, Mexico is currently investigating steel import dumping in 24 cases, for products including hot rolled coils, cold rolled steel, steel cables, plate sheet, and mesh or galvanized steel mesh.
