The average price of 8mm thick common carbon medium plate in the major markets of China was RMB 3204/ton ($395) on Monday. 8mm thick low alloy plate carried an average price of RMB 3403/ton ($420). The average price of 20mm thick common carbon plate was RMB 2853/ton ($352), while that of 20mm thick low alloy plate was RMB 2'992/ton ($369).
