Local Turkish CRC market moves on rising trend

Demand received by domestic producers in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market is still sluggish this week. In line with the $12.5/mt increase in domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the Turkish market, Turkish mills’ CRC prices have increased by $15/mt on average week on week to the range of $520-561/mt ex-works.
 
Due to the uptrend of producers’ CRC prices, spot CRC prices in the Eregli region have increased by $10/mt on the lower end and spot CRC prices in the Gebze region have risen by $10/mt on average over the past week.
 
Currently, traders’ CRC prices in the local Turkish spot market are as follows:
