Demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) spot market has remained at low levels this week, while some buyers have adopted a wait-and-see stance, expecting that prices may decrease further. With Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC) prices decreasing by $10/mt over the past two weeks, Turkish CRC producers have reduced their prices by $10/mt week on week to $520-550/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, the CRC prices of local traders in the Ereğli region have declined by $15/mt, while spot CRC prices in Gebze region have decreased by $20/mt, both week on week.
