Local HR price goes down in China
Huge inventories in
China have been pushing the hot rolled market down. Market sources report that base price for hot rolled coils has gone down to the level of RMB 3'550/mt (under $430/mt) in local market. That means import price should be less than $320-325/mt CFR FO to be attractive if there is interest.
