According to market sources, prices in the local Iranian hot rolled coil (HRC) market have increased by an average of $47.5/mt week on week to $595-600/mt ex-warehouse, including nine percent VAT, following the stoppage of supply from an Iranian flat steel producer, which has caused tightness of supply in the domestic market. Meanwhile, demand in the Iranian HRC market has remained at low levels during the past week.
