Iranian flats mill Mobarakeh Steel will collect prices for its new flats export tender until this evening. The target HRC price of Mobarakeh Steel is $560/mt FOB. However, it seems difficult for this price level to gain acceptance from buyers. Considering that Chinese HRC offers given to the Middle East for 3 mm and above materials are at $540-550/mt CFR, it is thought that Mobarekeh should accept levels of $540-550/mt CFR in order to conclude sales to the Middle Eastern market in this tender.

It is expected that Mobarekeh will conclude less sales in this current tender compared to its last export tender. In its last flats export tender, the producer concluded a total of 20,000 mt of HRC sales - at $575/mt FOB to Gulf countries, at $591/mt FOB to Iran and Afghanistan, and at $550/mt FOB to European countries.
