Import plate offers have remained unchanged in the Turkish domestic market, while demand has remained moderate. Meanwhile, Bulgarian steel mill Stomana has almost filled its order quota for August output and will probably prefer to wait for a while before starting to take orders for September production. In the meantime, ex-Ukraine and ex-Europe plate offers are expected to be announced soon, after the announcement of Russian origin offers this week.

Steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukrainian steel producer Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are still standing at $610-615/mt CFR for September shipments, while Bulgarian producer Stomana's August output steel plate offers to Turkey are at the base price level of €530-540/mt ($647-659/mt) CFR and Macedonian mill Makstil's offers are at $810/mt CFR for August rolling.

In the meantime, an Italian steel producer is still offering RTT (rolled to thickness) plate to Turkey at the base price level of €525/mt ($641/mt) CFR, while a Russian producer's August production hot rolled plate (HRP) offers from its mill 2800 to Turkey now stand at the level of $660-665/mt CFR, and the producer's HRP offers from its mill 5000 to Turkey are at $700/mt CFR. The prices in question are for August production.
