CIS and European producers have started making offers of plate to Turkey. The new offers are observed to be lower compared to the previous month's levels. In previous months, import plate offers had maintained a rising trend despite the softening of hot rolled coil prices. However, this month the opposite has happened. In the current month, import plate offers have seen a drop in price, while plate offered by Turkish domestic producers are on an uptrend.

Offers of commercial grade plate and shipbuilding plate from Alchevsk have dropped by $20/mt over last month's price level. Commercial grade plate offers have been revised from $810/mt CFR down to $790/mt CFR, while shipbuilding plate offers have come down from $820/mt CFR to $800/mt CFR. Commercial grade plate offers by Donestk stand at $740/mt CFR.

As for offers from Europe, plate from Makstil has dropped down from $950/mt CFR to $910/mt CFR, while offers from Romania are given at $850/mt CFR, base.
