Import HRC price increases short-lived in Iran

After climbing rapidly in the first month of the new Iranian year, which started on March 21, reaching Rials 11,800/kg ($963/mt) ex-yard loaded truck, exclusive of four percent VAT, offers of imported 2 mm x 1,000 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) in the northern Iranian port of Bandar Anzali have softened again to Rials 11,000/kg ($897/mt) ex-yard loaded truck, exclusive of four percent VAT, after first decreasing to Rials 11,300/kg ($922/mt).
