SteelOrbis has learned that Indian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coil offers for the US with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) in the last week have increased by a minimum of $10/mt, with most offers now ranging from $920/mt to $940/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian offers to the US of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coils range from $940/mt to $950/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian mills have sold only limited tons at the abovementioned price ranges and are expected to increase pricing further within the next week.
Taiwanese offers of 0.012" G30 currently range from $960/mt to $970/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, while Taiwanese offers of 0.019" G90 to the US range from $940/mt to $950/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Taiwanese offers of Galvalume (0.019" x 41.5625" Gr80/AZ55) coils for the US currently range from $960/mt to $970/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
