SteelOrbis has learned that Indian HDG (hot-dipped
galvanized) coil offers for the US, with the specifications of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m), currently range from approximately $800 /mt to $840 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Light gauge Indian HDG coil offers for the US with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) now range from approximately $830 /mt to $870 /mt CFR FO US Gulf Coast ports, and Chinese product with the same specifications is found at the same range, also in the Gulf.
Indian offers of Galvalume (0.019" x 41.5625" AZ55 (0.482 mm x 1.056 m) ) coils for the US are offered within a range of $840 /mt to $860 /mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
US HDG traders comment that they are still waiting to hear new import offers from the other major offshore sources that offer HDG to the US --
Taiwan and
Korea.
