SteelOrbis has learned that Chinese hot dipped galvanized (HDG) light gauge coil offers for the US with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) have increased $20/mt since last week and are now being offered at approximately $920/mt and above, CFR FO in US gulf ports. Meanwhile, Chinese offers for 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coils have also increased $20/mt, and are now being offered at $970/mt and above, CFR FO in US gulf ports.
Pricing for Indian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coil for the US with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) has remained neutral from last week and continues to be offered at $1,000/mt and above, CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian offers for 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coils have also remained neutral from last week and is still being offered at $1,000/mt and above, CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Offers of 0.012" G30 out of Taiwan have increased approximately $20/mt since last week, with offers now ranging between $1,020/mt to $1,040/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Taiwanese offers of 0.019" G90 to the US have also increased approximately $20/mt since last week, and now range from $1,040/mt to $1,060/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Furthermore, Taiwanese offers of Galvalume (0.019" x 41.5625" Gr80/AZ55) coils for the US have remained neutral and continue to be offered at $980/mt to $1,000/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
