SteelOrbis has learned that Indian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coil offers for the US with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) in the last two weeks have increased by approximately $20/mt, with most offers now ranging from $850/mt to $870/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian offers to the US of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coils have also increased by approximately $20/mt during this period, with most offers now ranging from $870/mt to $890/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Most Chinese HDG coil offers of 0.012" G30 are stable since last week and remain at the same range as the Indian offers, at $850/mt to $870/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, while Chinese offers of 0.019" G90 to the US are up $20/mt from last week, and now also at the same range as Indian offers, at $870/mt to $890/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Meanwhile, import offers of Galvalume (0.019" x 41.5625" Gr80/AZ55) coils for the US from China have risen by $30/mt in the last week. Chinese Galvalume offers now range from $950/mt to $960/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
