SteelOrbis has learned that Indian hot dipped galvanized (HDG) coil offers for the US with the specifications of of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m) in the last two weeks have increased by approximately $20/mt, with most offers now ranging from $830/mt to $850/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian offers to the US of 0.019" x 48" G90 (0.48 mm x 1.219 m) HDG coils have also increased by approximately $20/mt during this period, with most offers now ranging from $850/mt to $870/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Most Chinese HDG coil offers for the US have also risen by about $20/mt within the past two weeks. Offers of 0.012" G30 coils and 0.019" G90 coils from China now range from approximately $850/mt to $870/mt CFR FO US Gulf ports.
Meanwhile, Taiwanese offers of 0.012" G30 HDG coil to the US have increased by about $25/mt in the last two weeks, with most offers now ranging from $920/mt to $950/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Taiwanese offers of 0.019" G90 to the US also increased by $25/mt during this period and currently range from approximately $875/mt to $900/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
Meanwhile, import offers of Galvalume (0.019" x 41.5625" Gr80/AZ55) coils for the US from Taiwan, China and India have risen by $20 to $25/mt in the last two weeks. Taiwanese Galvalume offers now range from approximately $900/mt to $925/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports, while Chinese offers now range from $920/mt to $940/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports. Indian Galvalume offers now range from $900/mt to $920/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.
