Import flat steel offer prices to Turkey expected to move up

New price levels have not yet been announced in the Turkish flat steel import market. While local demand is weak, demand for import offers is also expected to be slack as most overseas producers will likely raise their flat steel import prices for Turkey in the coming week.
 
The latest import offers were at the following levels:  ex-Romania hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey were ranging at $610-620/mt CFR, while Ukrainian offers to Turkey were at $575-580/mt CFR and ex-Russian HRC offers stood at $600-630/mt CFR.
 
On the other hand, import cold rolled coil (CRC) offer to Turkey were as follows: Ukrainian CRC offers were at the level of $660-665/mt CFR. In the meantime, Russian CRC offers for 0.51 mm and above thickness were standing at $720/mt CFR, while Russian CRC offers for thickness of below 0.51 mm ranged at $750/mt CFR. In addition, Romanian CRC offers were at $700-710/mt CFR.
