SteelOrbis has learned that Chinese cold rolled coil (CRC) offers for the US have remained stable since last week, with most offers still ranging from $700/mt to $720/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.

Brazilian CRC offers for the US are slightly lower than the Chinese offers, at a range of $675/mt to $680/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.

Indian offers of CRC for the US are not competitive, with mills asking for at least $740/mt CFR FO in US Gulf ports.

On the galvanized side, SteelOrbis has learned that light gauge HDG coil offers from India for the US, with the specifications of 0.012" by 40.875" G30 (0.30 mm x 1.04 m), have remained stable within the last week, with most offers remaining at a range of approximately $900 /mt to $950 /mt CFR FO US Gulf Coast ports. However, early indications from second-tier Chinese mills put Chinese offers of the same product at approximately $50/mt below the Indian asking level. Widespread new HDG import offers from larger Chinese mills have not yet been heard, though.
