HRC prices show signs of firming up in Turkish domestic market

In this week's Turkish flat steel market, demand has shown some improvement as compared to last week, while it is seen that the products in demand vary from one region to another. As traders who needed to sell off stocks rapidly have seen the depletion of their limited lower-priced hot rolled coil and sheet (HRC and HRS) inventories, discounts on the mainstream spot price range have been withdrawn, though the general spot price range for these products has remained unchanged. In the meantime, prices for cold rolled coil (CRC) and hot rolled pickled and oiled coils (HR P&O) have maintained their sideways movement.

The domestic sales prices of traders for local and imported hot and cold rolled flat steel products in the Eregli and Gebze regions of Turkey are as follows:
