In the past week, local buyers have continued to put pressure on hot rolled coil (HRC) import offers in Oman, resulting in a $20/mt softening in HRC import offers from Russia and India, which now stand at $570/mt CFR. However, the price decline has not triggered a revival in demand. In contrast, buyers are now postponing their purchases, as prices continue to decline.
