SteelOrbis has been informed that in the Polish market hot rolled coil (
HRC) offers given by the Russian steelmakers Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (
MMK) and
Severstal stand at €680/mt DAF ($925/mt), while
HRC offers from
US Steel's Slovak subsidiary
US Steel Kosice are at €650/mt ($884/mt) DAF.
On the other hand, Ukrainian steelmaker
Zaporizhstal is offering hot rolled sheets (HRS) to the Polish market at $800/mt DAF.
All above offers are for producers' March productions.
