Hot dip galvanized (HDG) prices are unchanged in Turkish domestic market, while some slowdown has been observed on the demand side. The domestic market has been quiet this week. As some price inquiries have already resulted in orders, the slowdown in demand is considered to be normal.

In the Turkish domestic HDG steel market, the sales prices of local production material are as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

790-800

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

760-770

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

740-760

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

On the other hand, Turkish export offers for 0.50 mm 100gr/m² zinc coated HDG coils to certain Middle Eastern markets are still standing at $810-820/mt ex-works for late July production.
