Indian HDG coil offers for the US, sized 0.012" x 48" G30, have remained the same since our last report two weeks ago. Offerings continue to range from $1,475 /mt to $1,525 /mt CFR FO Gulf ports. Buyers are expecting a $70 /mt increase from Indian mills within the next week, however under the current US market conditions, acceptance of the full increase is unlikely.
For sizes 0.028" x 48" G40, Chinese mills are still offering at a range of $1,350 /mt to $1,400 /mt CFR FO West Coast ports.
Taiwanese offers for 0.019" x 48" G90 are up $50 /mt since our last report of two weeks ago and are currently ranging from $1,500 /mt to $1,525 /mt CFR FO Gulf Coast ports.
