Galvanized steel prices increase in Taiwan

SteelOrbis has been informed that the price of JIS G3313 SECC electro-galvanized coils of 0.6-1.2 mm thickness in the local Taiwanese market is being quoted at NTD 19,000-22,500/mt ($578-684/mt), increasing by NTD 1,500 ($46/mt) as compared to last week.

Meanwhile, JIS G3312 CGCC pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) of 0.276-0.476 mm thickness is being quoted in the local Taiwanese market at NTD 25,000-27,500/mt ($760-836/mt), indicating an increase of NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) as compared to last week.

All prices include five percent VAT and for early July shipments.
