SteelOrbis heard that a Chinese mill is currently offering 2.0 mm hot dip galvanized iron at $730/mt FOB, and 1.0 mm corrugated galvanized iron at $770/mt FOB on actual weight basis via at sight payment by letter of credit for August shipment. It is heard that mills are now raising their galvanized iron prices because of production costs: hot rolled coils prices are rapidly increasing and zinc prices are at a high level.
