This week, domestic demand for pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) in Turkey has remained stable, while demand for Turkish PPGI from foreign markets, particularly from the Middle East, has shown some improvement. After filling their order books for September, Turkish mills have now started to accept orders for October production.

In the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices are still standing at $920-950/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT. Turkey's PPGI export offers are at similar levels compared to domestic prices.
