Flats prices decline in Portuguese market

SteelOrbis has been informed that the local price levels for imported HRS in the Portuguese market are in a range of €450-460/mt ($575-588/mt) ex-warehouse on actual weight basis. Meanwhile, also in the Portuguese domestic market, a galvanized producer's base prices of HDG are at the level of €500/mt ($639/mt) ex-stock. It is heard that the galvanized stocks in Portugal in general are decreasing at the current time.

Price levels in Portugal have this week decreased by an average of €20/mt ($26/mt) compared to recent weeks. It is expected that the softening in flats prices will continue further.
