Flat steel prices in Russian domestic market

The Russian flat steel market is characterized by the same soft price trend as seen in the global market, while it is witnessing low activity and demand. However, suppliers are not in a hurry to make sharp decreases in their prices.
 
Traders in central Russia are offering 2 mm hot rolled sheet (HRS) at levels of $715-725/mt ex-warehouse, while their offers for 1.5 mm cold rolled sheet (CRS) are standing at $800-820/mt ex-warehouse.
 
In the meantime, offers for 1 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated hot dip galvanized (HDG) are in the range of $1,070-1,100/mt ex-warehouse, while offers for 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated  HDG are standing at $1,140-1,170/mt ex-warehouse.
