Flat steel prices in Pakistan

SteelOrbis has been informed that Pakistan Steel production hot rolled coils of 2 mm thickness are being offered to the local Pakistani market via traders at the price level of PKR 61,200/mt ($709/mt), while cold rolled coils of 1.2-1.6 mm thickness are being offered at PKR 70,700/mt ($827/mt). It is heard from domestic market sources that local buyers are showing strong interest in these offers and also that end-user demand in the Pakistani market has gained strength in recent weeks. Meanwhile, in the local Pakistani market, traders' offers for galvanized products of 0.5 mm thickness are currently standing at the level of PKR 82,800/mt ($968/mt).
