SteelOrbis has been informed that Russian hot rolled coil (HRC) import offers to the local Omani market have remained stable since last week at $640-650/mt CFR. The offers, which exclude VAT, are for advance payment and for April production.
Russian origin HRC offers have been found to be on the high side by local buyers, while market sources expect HRC prices in the Omani market to decline amid softer ex-China offers and the failure of import offers to gain acceptance.
