Outokumpu, Aperam and Acerinox, leading stainless steel producers in Europe, have announced their alloy surcharges for June, increasing their product prices compared to the previous month, with the support of nickel prices which have recovered during the month of May and fluctuated in the range of $8,000-9,000/mt. The cash nickel prices at the London Metal Exchange (LME) are standing at $8,340/mt as of today, May 25.
The alloy surcharge prices for June 2016 of the producers in question are as follows:
