Outokumpu, Aperam and Acerinox, leading stainless steel producers in Europe, have announced their alloy surcharges for April, mostly increasing their product prices compared to the previous month. Since the beginning of March, the cash nickel prices at the London Metal Exchange (LME) have moved on a fluctuating trend, increasing by approximately $160/mt to $8,580/mt as of March 28, while prices of alloy surcharges have increased slightly.
The alloy surcharges’ prices for April 2016 of the producers in question are as follows:
