SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese market the price of JIS C2552 50A 1300 electrical steel of 0.35-0.50 mm thickness is being quoted at NTD 20,000-21,000/mt ($575-604/mt), including five percent VAT, for late March shipments. The price indicates a decrease of NTD 1,000/mt ($29/mt) as compared to last week.
On the other hand, the price of JIS G3313 SECC electro-galvanized coils of 0.6-1.2 mm thickness in the local Taiwanese market is being quoted at NTD 19,500-21,000/mt ($561-604/mt), including five percent VAT and for late March shipments. The price has shown a decline of NTD 500/mt ($14/mt) as compared to last week.
