Demand in the local Egyptian hot rolled coil (HRC) market has remained sluggish, while local producer EZDK has kept its December rolling HRC prices unchanged at EGP 3,850/mt ($624/mt) ex-works as compared to prices for November output materials.

EZDK has filled up its order books for February output on the back of exports, while the latest export offer by the mill was at $600/mt FOB, indicating an increase of $30/mt as compared to the price levels in late November.
