According to market sources, Egypt-based steelmaker EZDK Steel has issued unchanged prices for May rolling hot rolled coil (HRC) as compared to prices for April production materials at EGP 4,410/mt ($578/mt) ex-works, excluding 10 percent VAT.

Market sources state that, although HRC prices have remained stable for May production, they expect an increase in flat steel prices in the Egyptian market following the upward movement in global prices.
