SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that local prices in the Spanish flat steel market, where demand is at moderate levels, have remained unchanged over the past three weeks, while import offers to country have declined by €5-10/mt ($7-14/mt).

Accordingly, hot rolled coil (HRC) domestic prices in Spain are standing at €460-470/mt ($621-635/mt), while domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) and local hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices are at €540-545/mt ($729-736/mt). All prices are ex-works and for March production.

On the other hand, import offers from Brazil, India, China and the Middle East to Spain for December rolling can be found at €470-480/mt ($635-648/mt) CIF for HRC, at €535-545/mt ($722-736/mt) CIF for CRC and at €500-510/mt ($675-689/mt) for hot rolled pickled and oiled (HR P&O) coil
