Demand still weak in Spanish flat steel market

Demand in the Spanish flat steel market has remained weak. Meanwhile, hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in the local Spanish market have decreased by €20/mt ($22/mt) to €370-380/mt ($407-418/mt) ex-warehouse over the past month, excluding 21 percent VAT and for August deliveries. In addition, import HRC offers in Spain have decreased by €20/mt ($22/mt) month on month to €350-360/mt ($385-396/mt) CIF, for September shipments.
