According to market sources, demand for Turkish hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil both in the local and in the export markets is still sluggish, having weakened further compared to last week. Market sources believe that, if the current conditions in Turkey's export markets remain unchanged, then demand and quotations in the Turkish HDG market will change at a very slow pace.
In the Turkish domestic market, HDG sales prices are currently as follows:

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.
On the other hand, ex-Turkey HDG offers are still at $750-760/mt FOB for December production.
