Demand still sluggish in local Turkish CRC market

Demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market for domestic producers’ products has continued to be characterized by weakness since buyers still consider current prices to be on the high side, while Turkish producers have maintained their prices unchanged over the past week at $640-660/mt ex-works.
 
Meanwhile, buyers in the local Turkish CRC spot market continue to make bookings only to meet their immediate needs due to the ongoing political uncertainties in Turkey and due to continuing cash flow problems. Turkish traders CRC offers to their domestic market have also remained unchanged week on week. 
 
Currently, traders’ CRC prices in the local Turkish spot market are as follows:
