Demand still at decent levels in Turkish domestic CRC market

During the past week, buyers in the Turkish domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market have continued to make purchases and demand has remained at decent levels. Meanwhile, local producers’ prices have remained unchanged at $590-610/mt ex works. However, if global raw material and hot rolled coil (HRC) prices maintain their upward trend, CRC prices in the domestic market will likely indicate further increases.

In the spot market in Turkey, CRC demand has remained at decent levels, while spot prices have moved up by $10/mt following the rises seen in producers’ prices in the previous week. Turkish traders’ CRC prices in the local Turkish spot market are at the following levels:

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis, for July delivery, and exclude 18 percent VAT.
