According to market sources, demand for Turkish hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil both in the local and in the export markets has improved slightly over the past week. Also, demand in the global HDG market is improving and, with Ukrainian producers still not accepting HGD orders, Turkey's HDG exports are expected to increase in the coming days.

In the Turkish domestic market, HDG sales prices have remained unchanged over the same period and are currently as follows:

Product

Price ($/mt)

HDG   0.50 mm  100gr/m²

770-790

HDG   1 mm  100gr/m²

720-740

HDG   2 mm  100gr/m²

705-710

The above prices, which may differ depending on product quality, are ex-works, exclude VAT, and are for advance payments.

On the other hand, ex-Turkey HDG offers are still at $750-760/mt FOB for December production.
