Both local and export prices of Turkish pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) have remained stable since last week. However, with expectations of lower prices, buyers have postponed their new purchases and so both domestic and export demand has remained sluggish.

Turkish mills' local offers for RAL 9002 0.3 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI are standing at $1,010-1,050/mt, while offers for RAL 9002 0.5 mm are at $870-910/mt and prices for RAL 9002 1 mm stand at $790-820/mt. All the offers in question are on ex-works basis and exclude 18 percent VAT.

In the meantime, ex-Turkey PPGI offers are still vary at $850-890/mt FOB, for December production.
