CRC imports decline in Brazil

Brazil imported 20,100mt of CRC in December, 6.6 percent less than in November, at an average FOB price that was reduced by 6.3 percent, month-on-month, to $473/mt.

The primary origin of Brazilian import CRC was Asia; 19.400 mt at $464/mt, of which 18,000 mt was shipped from China at $447/mt, 1,200 mt  was shipped from South Korea at $669/mt and 200 mt was shipped from Taiwan, while 700 mt at $700/mt were shipped from the EU.

Meanwhile, the country exported 2,500 mt of CRC in December, mostly to South American countries.
