Corus to hike section and plate prices

Europe's second largest steel producer Corus has announced today that it will increase the base prices of its structural section and reversing mill plate prices by £20/mt effective for shipments as of 1 July 2007. Commenting on the price rise, Richard White, General Manager Sales and Marketing, Sections and Plates said, “Corus is experiencing healthy levels of demand for sections and plates both in the UK and globally and our commitment to supplying quality products and services remains undiminished.”
