Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated an overall upward trend in the past week due to support from higher domestic finished steel prices. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $530-560/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $565-575/mt FOB.

It is thought that flat steel offer prices from China will move up slightly in the coming week.
