Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated diverse trends in the past week, with hot rolled coil prices continuing to indicate an upward trend, while hot dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) have declined, and other product prices have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $505-515/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $545-555/mt FOB.

It is expected that flat steel offer prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
