During the given week, a slight rebound has been seen in iron ore prices, which has provided a certain amount of support for the finished steel market. Unconfirmed reports have emerged that steelmakers in northern China will be forced to cut outputs as of late August, which could have some impact on export deliveries. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export prices will likely continue their stable trend in the coming week.
