According to market sources, demand is still weak in the Omani flat steel market. Chinese hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the Omani market have remained stable week on week at $410-425/mt CFR, for July production. However, Omani buyers consider these offers to be on the high side and are making firm bids at $400-405/mt CFR.
